New Genespleizer ep + other news

After much delay, Genespleizers Skrotwerk ep has finally been released. 30 minutes of dark, noisy, and grungy skrot-core, with elements of acid, breakcore and doomcore. The tracklist is:

All four tracks can be heard on youtube on bashcorpos channel, so check them out and then get the vinyl. Danish distribution for this, and indeed for all hamarplazt releases now, is handeled by Rillbar, but the record can also be ordered from the excellent swedish shop Snickars, through their discogs shop.

In addition to the Genespleizer-tracks, a lot of Giedo Primo tracks can now also be heard on youtube, also through the bashcorpo channel. These include the unreleased Future Colours and an older, unreleased version of Skrot Brothers. Of other hamarplazt-related artists, there's plenty of Ras Bolding to be found on youtube as well.

Furthermore, Giedo Primo will be playing live november 19th at Danish Synth Festival 2011, at Lygten Station in Copenhagen. Admission is DKR 50, and Giedo will be playing at 20:30 as the first act.

Giedo Primo, Commodore Combat Unit, Ras Bolding and Papa Stein will all be playing live in Århus, at a SKROT-showcase october 2. It'll be at Musikcaféen, Mejlgade 53, tickets are 40 DKR, and doors open at 8:30 PM.

Time schedule for the concerts is approximately:

23:00 - Ras Bolding
00:00 - Commodore Combat Unit

During breaks Giedo Primo and Interzone will play some records, and Ekkoregimet might do a special improvised encore to end the evening.

The Ammonia Globe is gone!! It had only just started to get the recognition it deserved, with the SKROT-compilation, and then they do exactly the thing we were trying to prevent. The stupidity and cruelty is beyond words. The globe will never be forgotten, and neither will the crime of its destruction. The bastards responsible for this deserves to be spat in the face for all eternity.

The globe will rise again. Preferably in Odense Town Hall Square!

The concerts for the official release of SKROT and Empty Circles went pretty well, so thanks to anyone for showing up despite the weather. Both records are now available in Moby Disc in Odense, and they can also be ordered online from Labelkollektivs shop.

Next skrot koncert is with Ras Bolding may 28, some place outside of Odense. Further information will presumably appear on his website.

On may 29, the day after, there will be a concert with Giedo Primo, Commodore Combat Unit and Ekkoregimet/Genespleizer at Havnekulturfestivalen in Odense, as a part of Urban Art Projects thing there.

Eight of the ten acts on the SKROT-compilation will be playing at the official release-party 8th of may i Odense. The concerts will be in the outside area Farvergården at Kulturmaskinen, as a part of Kulturmaskinen Festival, and will start at 8 pm.

Lots of activity from acts from the SKROT-compilation in Odense next week:
Wednesday 10th Ras Bolding will play at a photo exhibition at Kulturmaskinen.
Friday 12th Strozqnu will play as support at the release party for the new record from their sister band Plök, also at Kulturmaskinen.
Saturday 13th Giedo Primo will play as support for The Live Museum at Rytmeposten.
Hopefully yhe compilation will be completely finished during the week, so it at least will be for sale the 12th and 13th.
